One of the first present I can remember having when I was a kid, was  a wooden horse with wheels that you could ride.  I would ride that horse everywhere.  My brother got too, and we would have horse races all day long.  It was my favorite toy for years.  I love to find my grandchildren that one toy that they just can not stop playing with.   Last year, I gave my one grandchild a very large snowman, that has wire in it and it can be very tall or very small, it was the first thing I saw when I walked into their home this year

Growing up in my house, I knew waking up Easter morning that there was a basket from the Easter bunny on the counter. I still long to wake up and run into the kitchen looking for my basket! My mom would always pack it with goodies like chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, gummy bunnies, and much more yummy candy! Sometimes we would get coloring books or small toys in the baskets too, making Easter almost as good as Christmas! Easter touches my heart by pulling the strings of beautiful memories, hearing the running on the wood floors and the laughter of me and my brother.
