Caring for Your Knot-A-Tail smaller Horse Hair Product 
..... The simple Basics.


Remember these are Wearable Works of Art, so please handle them as such! Set Up:

  • Dime sized drop of mild liquid shampoo
  • Soft bristle toothbrush or eyebrow brush
  • Bowl
  • Absorbent paper towels
  • Pop can


  • Love Ivory Soap for this: 99.9% pure soap.
  • Prepare bowl with warm water and add liquid shampoo.
  • Gently  swish the jewelry around the solution (do not soak).
  • Brush to clean any stones and metal.
  • It there is some dirt that is in the braid, GENTLY brush, flick it out.
  • Rinse in warm running water to remove all soap residue.
  • Remove excess water with paper towel.
  • Set aside to dry on a clean dry surface.

Note: Most of the items can be just laid flat and allowed to dry. However, some Jewelry will need to be formed to hold it's shape better, a Pop can works well for this.
